A Global Youth NGO for Road Safety, named YOURS, is expected to begin operations in early 2010.

Once firmly established, YOURS will be a youth-led organisation that acts to keep young people safe on the world's roads. It will do so by:

• advocating for youth related road safety issues nationally, regionally and especially globally.
• connecting young people and youth NGOs active in the road safety field around the world, so they can work together and easily share information and experiences.
• building capacity among youth in the road safety field.

YOURS is supported by the World Health Organization, the Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, GRSP, the European Commission and Michelin.
