VAMOS - Volunteers Always on the Move for better Road Safety

The proposal for VAMOS II has been submitted to the European Commission for approval. VAMOS II, provided that the proposal is approved, is expected to start spring 2010. VAMOS is an EU-granted project, thus active participation in the project is limited to EU-countries.

Join VAMOS II

The countries who have signed up until now for VAMOS II are: Slovenia, Belgium, Greece, Finland, Slovakia, Portugal, Switzerland (responsible for quality monitoring) and The Netherlands (model country). These countries will be joined in VAMOS II by Austria, Italy, Poland and Estonia. Romania, Serbia and other countries have shown interest in attending VAMOS II meetings without any official involvement. VAMOS II now covers most countries from the South European Region and part of the Baltic States.
